Professional Development I have a strong commitment to on-going personal and professional development and work within the BACP’s Ethical Framework. I have attended continual professional development training in the following areas:eating disorders; childhood sexual abuse;terminal & serious physical illness; motivational interviewing; seven habits of highly effective living; domestic violence; differences, race and culture in counselling; counselling & healing and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Supervision I receive regular clinical counselling supervision adhering to the guidelines of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also have professional indemnity insurance.
Supervisor As a new supervisor having completed a Certificate in the Principles of the Theory and Practice of Supervision at Metanoia, I am offering counselling supervision at £40.
Professional and Personal Development I work with a (Reiki) Life Coach and have done so for the last 3 years. This relationship helps me to explore personal and professional blindspots, keep me emotionally healthy and resilient and helps to keep my client work vibrant and alive.
